Do I need to assign a Start+End Date to every task or just milestones?
Most tasks don’t need specific dates unless they have a true deadline. If you prefer using the Board view in My Forge for task management, focus on prioritization rather than rigid scheduling.
When to assign a due date:
✔ Milestones? Always give them a start and end date—this keeps your quest on track.
✔ Time-sensitive tasks? Add a due date if it must be completed on a specific day or you’ve scheduled time to work on it in your calendar.
✔ Flexible tasks? Skip the due date—keep them in Not Started and move them to In Progress when you start them.
📌 Remember: The Calendar and Timeline views of My Forge only show tasks with dates, while the Board and Detail views display all tasks, milestones, and reflections—whether they have dates or not.
🦄 Hot Tip: Focus on momentum, not micromanaging due dates. If you’re consistently slaying tasks and moving forward, you’re winning.
