How do Daily and Weekly Reflections work Do I need to do both?
Reflections keep you on track by helping you process wins, struggles, and next steps—but you don’t need to do both every day.
The key is to start each Slay Day by creating either a Daily or Weekly Reflection so that your Questies (focused work sessions) and Energizers (tracked habits) are logged properly.
Here’s how to decide which one to do:
✔ Daily Reflections → Log these on Slay Days when you are working toward your Mountain. Perfect for tracking what you’re accomplishing, how you feel, and what’s next.
✔ Weekly Reflections → Dive in on your designated planning day (usually at the start or end of the week). This is when you zoom out, set a Weekly Victory, and fine-tune your strategy.
📌 If you do a Weekly Reflection, skip the Daily Reflection that day. It’s always one or the other—never both on the same day.
How to start your reflection on a Slay Day:
1️⃣ Open your Main Character Saga Vision Portal in Notion. 2️⃣ Expand the My Energizers section. 3️⃣ Choose either: Craft Your Week (for Weekly Reflections) or Slay Your Days (for Daily Reflections). 4️⃣ Follow the numbered steps to create your reflection for the day.
Why start a reflection first thing on a Slay Day?
✔ Questies and Energizers are saved to your reflection cards—you must create a reflection first for them to be logged properly.
✔ You don’t have to answer the prompts immediately—you can reflect later in the day or at the end of your Slay Day to process what went well and what could improve.
✔ It keeps your progress organized and measurable in one place.
🦄 Hot Tip: Reviewing past reflections can reveal breakthrough moments and help you identify patterns in your wins and challenges.
