What is Notion Calendar, and how can I sync tasks with my calendar?
Notion Calendar is a separate app from Notion that integrates with Google Calendar and Zoom for event syncing. It provides a calendar view where you can see your scheduled MCS tasks, milestones, and reflections alongside your other calendar events.
How to use Notion Calendar with MCS:
-
Open Notion Calendar from the Calendar view of My Forge by clicking the Open in Calendar button
-
Connect your Google Calendar and/or Zoom accounts (optional).
-
Add new tasks to your 💎 My Forge calendar from Notion Calendar—these will sync back to My Forge inside MCS.
- This is a great way to schedule blocks of time to work on your most important (Slay First) tasks for the week.
- You may need to refresh your MCS Vision Portal page to see new tasks you add to MCS via Notion Calendar.
-
Notion Calendar only displays Main Character Saga tasks, reflections, or milestones with dates assigned to them.
Adding new Tasks from Notion Calendar:
✔ Create an event on the 💎 My Forge calendar → It will automatically sync to My Forge in your MCS system.
✔ To edit full details of a task/milestone, click the Open in Notion button.
🦄 Hot Tip: Notion Calendar is a companion tool—it doesn’t replace My Forge for task management. Think of it as a calendar overlay to keep track of your scheduled items across different platforms in one place.
